How to Apply

All applications are reviewed and individually considered by Shadow Jumpers on a quarterly basis.

Shadow Jumpers reserves the right to make selections and decisions based on factors it deems appropriate and in the best interest of its organization. Those factors may include but are not limited to cost, logistics, budget, timing, quality, and impact of requested assistance (or lack thereof) for the family. Not all requests will be approved.

Families may be asked to provide Shadow Jumpers with more detailed information before their application is fully considered.

Application Timeline

Step 1

The first step is to determine eligibility (See application eligibility HERE).  If the criteria is met, click on the “APPLY” link (at the bottom of this page).

Step 2

Please fill out our application form in its entirety. It is encourage to provide as much detail as possible to every answers, A Partially completed application may impact your request timeline.

Step 3

After submitting your application, a Shadow Jumpers representative will contact you via email to let you know-

  • That your application cannot be completed at this time and why.

  • Requesting further information regarding your request and/or history of photosensitivity.

  • To notify you that your application will move forward to a review by our board of directors.

Step 4

A phone or virtual interview may be requested prior to presenting your application to the board.

Step 5

The Shadow Jumpers board reviews applications four times a year; January, April, July and November. Listed below are the upcoming dates for each meeting and the date applications must be submitted by for review at each meeting.

Note: Board meeting dates are subject to change based on availability of the board members.

Application deadline dates are final. No exceptions will be made.

Step 6

In the event that your application is approved by the board, a Shadow Jumpers team member will notify you via email along with any next steps in the execution process. A phone call or virtual meeting may be requested.

In the event your application is denied, you will be notified by email.
