We are back for year three! Shadow Jumpers and the United Porphyrias Association have teamed up (again) for a transformative sun safe experience at Victory Junction in 2026 for Photo Sensitive children (ages 6-16) in North America.

Sun Escape is a 4 Day 3 Night camp experience that creates a community of fun, imagination, creativity and a positive perspective towards our campers’ unique circumstances with the sun

Every activity is set sun safe indoors or purposely in the late evening. Those activities include archery, horseback riding, zip lining, fishing, a petting zoo, an outdoor pool, a carnival themed field day and so much more.

Starting Friday October 10th through December 6th, Shadow Jumpers and the United Porphyrias Association will begin accepting applications to fill our 32 family slots and 40+ volunteer positions through December 6th. Families must have a photosensitive child between the ages of 6-16. Volunteers must have a photosensitive condition themselves or be personally connected to one. Not all families and volunteers will be accepted.

Camp families qualify for 100% reimbursement of their travel expenses to and from camp while our volunteers can receive up $500-$600 in stipends.
